Midnight Blend Cherry Almond Cake Recipe & Submit Your Own Recipe!

For inspiration, here’s one we’ve tried:
Midnight Blend Cherry Almond Cake
1 cup of sour cream
1 package of french vanilla cake mix (Betty Crocker or your favorite)
3 eggs
1 cup Sweetwaters Midnight Blend brewed coffee (brewed strong)
1 can cherry pie filling
½ cup of almond slices
Powdered Sugar Glaze
1/3 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
2-4 tablespoons water
Directions:
1) Combine the cake mix, sour cream, egg, and coffee together.
2) Pour into greased baking tin. Use either a loaf pan or a rectangle pan.
3) Drop spoon-fulls of cherry pie filling onto the mix.

4) For a loaf pan, bake at 325 degrees for approx. 40 minutes or until golden.
For a rectangular pan, bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
5) When the cake cools completely drizzle glaze on top.
6) Sprinkle with almond slices.
