Event: Classical Afternoon at Sweetwaters Plymouth Green
Place: Sweetwaters Plymouth Green
Date: Saturday, May 15, 2010.
Join us tomorrow evening at our Plymouth Green location for the beautiful musical stylings of flutist Emily Perryman and harpist Amy Ley. Locally, Emily and Amy have performed as a duo at the UM School of Music, Theatre & Dance, Museum of Art, Firefly Club, and Kerry town Concert house and have also enjoyed sharing their music with residents at Arbor Hospice, Glacier Hills Senior Living Community, and St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Emily and Amy are delighted to bring café music from the concert house to the coffee house with their first appearance at Sweetwater’s.
Emily Perryman maintains an active teaching and freelance career, performing regularly with the Ann Arbor, Flint and Saginaw Bay Symphony Orchestras, Michigan Sinfonietta, and First Presbyterian Churches of Ann Arbor and Flint.
Amy Ley has the pleasure of being the principal harpist with a number of orchestras in south eastern Michigan and Ontario including the Ann Arbor Symphony, Flint Symphony, and the Windsor Symphony Orchestra. She has performed as a soloist with a number of orchestras and has had her performances broadcast on the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s radio network across Canada and the United States.
