Classical Revolution Ann Arbor is a group dedicated to taking chamber music out of the recital hall and into the community, in the process dissolving the boundaries between audience and performer, professional and amateur. The musicians who play at Classical Revolution events come from a variety of backgrounds, including current students and recent graduates of the University of Michigan School of Music, young professional musicians, and accomplished amateurs who use Classical Revolution as a musical outlet. Performances usually take the form of a chamber jam session, where music is chosen on the fly as performers rotate in and out-the music is written, but the program is improvised.

Join Sweetwaters and the NEW Center in raising money for local arts organizations. Southeastern Michigan Arts & Culture Challenge Grant will donate $1 for every $2 raised. Local arts organizations include:  Arts Alliance, University Musical Society, University of Michigan Museum of Art, University of Michigan Natural History Museum, Performance Network, Purple Rose Theater, and Leslie Science and Nature Center.
