Sweethearts reading at Sweetwaters! Our Valentines’ month features are doubly-talented newlyweds Onna Solomon and Jonathan Schwartz. Onna will be reading poetry and Jonathan will be reading fiction. Their writings will warm your heart. Open mic follows.

We continued the Sweetwaters tradition of having a lion dance at the opening of another new store. The colorful lions and loud booming drums were truly amazing. We combined our grand opening with a Chinese New Year celebration by having Chinese Yo-Yo performers and traditional Chinese stories told by Ann Arbor’s Frances Kai-Hwa Wang. Sweetwaters Plymouth Green was filled with lots of smiling faces all enjoying the festivities. If you missed our celebration, we’ve posted pictures and videos below. We are happy to report another Sweetwaters couple! Moses Lee and Julie Kim have a history of dates at Sweetwaters, so after Moses proposed, they headed to Sweetwaters Kerrytown to take a few of these stunning engagement photos. Congrats to Moses and Julie from everyone at Sweetwaters.
